Miss Internet Pageant Contestant Agreement
Acceptance and General Terms
The Miss Internet Pageant is provided under the terms of this Contestant Agreement and any other rules or policies of Internet Pagentry, LLC (“Miss Internet Pageant”), the sponsor of the pageant (the “Competition”). By submitting your entry and clicking the “I agree” you agree to be bound by this Contestant Agreement.
Any breach of this Contestant Agreement, in our sole discretion, will result in your disqualification. You certify that you are a legal resident of the United States or Canada, female and 18 years of age or older on the date that the earliest of the Submitted Photographs or Submitted Videotape (as defined below and collectively the “Images”) was taken. All federal, state/provincial and local laws and regulations of the United States and/or Canada apply. Void where prohibited or restricted.
Except as otherwise set forth in this Agreement, only one entry per month per person will be accepted. False, deceptive or incomplete entries or other information provided by you throughout the Competition (including, but not limited to, responses to questionnaires) may render you ineligible.
All entries any other materials submitted (including, but not limited to, photographs and videotapes) become the sole property of Miss Internet Pageant and will not be returned or acknowledged. All decisions of Miss Internet Pageant shall be final and conclusive on all matters relating to the Competition.
Finalists must agree to participate in promotional events on behalf of the Miss Internet Pageant and/or its entities. In addition, they must participate in hosting a party on behalf of the Miss Internet Pageant sometime between January 1st and August 31st 2008. Finalists will be expected to wear MIP clothing that may include, but is not limited to the following: an official MIP T-shirt to be worn with contestant’s jeans, official MIP boy- shorts and official MIP T-shirt or official MIP bikini. Participants in the MIP hosted party will not be paid additional compensation. Transportation and hotel accommodations may be provided at the sole discretion of the Miss Internet Pageant. Your entry constitutes your consent to a background check that may be performed, at the sole discretion of the Miss Internet Pageant to verify information you provide to us or for other reasons related to the competition.
You consent to Miss Internet Pageant's collection, use and disclosure to third parties of your personal information for the purpose of administering this Competition and as otherwise set out in this Contestant Agreement.
Miss Internet Pageant reserves the right to terminate, withdraw or amend the Competition for any reason.

Rules Regarding Images
The competition is associated with missinternetpageant.com. After completing the questionnaire at the on-line registration, you will be able to upload three (3) recent and different photographs of yourself in the following formats; .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .tiff, .png (the "Submitted Photographs"). Entrants must submit 2 full-body shots (at least one bikini picture….other can be TASTEFUL lingerie or regular clothing) and one head shot so we can see your lovely face up close! Please make sure your photos are cropped appropriately: your face or body should take up almost the entire screen. You will also have the option to submit a video (the “Submitted Videotape”). All photos must be less than 1MG and all video must be less than 10 MG.
Also:
No sexually explicit poses
No nude shots
No exposed genitalia
No hats, sunglasses or hair in your face
No blurry or grainy photos
No photos that are too dark or too light
No cluttered background (not in your living room / bedroom!)
No – absolutely no – webcam photos
No text or border
No photos where you're looking to one side
You must be the ONLY person in the picture
No props or pets in your photo
No more than one photo of yourself in each frame-meaning
No collage of photos
Photos displaying anything listed above will be automatically removed.
No altered photographs, photographs taken prior to January 1st, 2007, or photographs containing more than one person, will be eligible. Pictures containing nudity and/or pornographic material (including, but not limited to, your nipples or genitals) absolutely will not be accepted and, if submitted, your application will be subject to disqualification in our sole discretion. The determination of whether any Image disqualifies a contestant will be in our sole and absolute discretion.
Miss Internet Pageant further reserves the right to disqualify you if your images have been published on or after February 2, 2007, other than in the background, or during the course of this Competition is published, in any media that in Miss Internet Pageant’s sole discretion shall be deemed to compete with Miss Internet Pageant.com or the Competition.
Right of the Competition and/or Miss Internet Pageant to Use Images
Submission of Images in the Competition constitutes your consent for the Images to be reproduced, published and/or altered on the Web Site, www.Missinternetpageant.com, and/or associated or otherwise affiliated Web/WAP sites.
You will be required to demonstrate that you have the rights in the Images and that you have the authority to grant Miss Internet Pageant the right to reproduce and publish the Images for whatever purpose Miss Internet Pageant deems fit in its sole and absolute discretion. Images that are modeling shots or photographs/video taken by a professional photographer/videographer, or anything other than personal photos or a video in which you hold the rights may not be submitted unless the copyright holder(s) has granted you the rights to the Images and the authority to grant Miss Internet Pageant those rights. In addition, you will be required to agree to a Copyright Release [link] or you will be ineligible to participate in the Competition.
You are responsible for any payments to the original copyright holder(s) for the rights to publish the Images and Miss Internet Pageant will not be responsible for any such payment, and will not be held under any obligation to publish a credit to the original copyright holder(s). You agree to hold Miss Internet Pageant harmless and to indemnify Miss Internet Pageant from any and all liabilities, loss, claims, or causes of actions, including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses,that may be incurred by Miss Internet Pageant, arising out of or relating to the use of Images.
By indicating your agreement to this Contestant Agreement, you hereby, swear or affirm that you are the person represented in the Images (as defined in the Contestant Agreement) submitted to Miss Internet Pageant Competition. You agree to indemnify Miss Internet Pageant, its directors, officers, employees and agents for any and all damages, costs, expenses and other liabilities, including reasonable attorney's fees and court costs, arising out of any false, misleading, or otherwise deceptive submission of said Images. You understand that Miss Internet Pageant shall rely on your representations that you are the person in the Images.
Entry constitutes your permission for the Competition or Miss Internet Pageant to use your name on Miss Internet Pageant.com, or an affiliated or associated Web site, and your consent to use your name, photograph, comments and/or voice recordings and likenesses for advertising or publicity purposes, in any and all media - including but not limited to magazines, online display, television, cable, video, DVD and/or film productions, wireless applications and other media channels and applications, and for advertising, promotions, or other competitions sponsored by one or all of Miss Internet Pageant or its affiliates and for other commercial purposes - without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
Monthly Winners
During the period of August 1 2007 through August 31st, 2008, visitors to the Web Site will have an opportunity to vote for their favorites among the posted entrants during the calendar days of the prior month until 11:59 P.M. EST on the last day of the applicable month (the "Monthly Voting Period"). In the event that any selected entrant is determined to be ineligible after her photograph(s) have been posted, she will be disqualified and her photo will be removed. Voters may vote only one time every 12 hours during each Monthly Voting Period. During each month of the Competition, the voters will select three (3) of the selected entrants to become Miss Internet Pageant of the Month, 2nd runner up, and 3rd runner up. 30 additional entrants will receive wildcard positions which will allow them to go through to the final round. All entrants that participate and win each month, will be allowed to participate in future months except for the finals. All entrants that participate and win each month, will not be allowed to win the same position in future months except for the finals. The selection of the Semi-Finalists shall be within the sole discretion of Miss Internet Pageant, whose decision shall be final, and shall be based on the criteria listed in this Contestant Agreement. [Results of public voting are one factor in selecting Semi-Finalists, but are not determinative.] Winners will be decided by votes. 50 % of the vote will be weighed by voters online and the remainder by the MIP assigned organizers and judges.
Each month, the Miss Internet Pageant of the Month will receive a cash prize of $1000.00, the 2nd runner up will receive $300.00 and the 3rd runner up will receive $100.00. At the end of each month the votes will go back to zero giving everyone an equal chance for the upcoming month.
Selection of the Final Winner
The Final Winner of the Competition and a 2nd and 3rd runner up will be chosen no earlier than September 2008. During the last month of the Competition, voters and Miss Internet Pageant will chose the Winner and the Runner-Up. Fifty percent (50%) of the Competition will be based on votes from users and fifty percent (50%) shall be based on the sole discretion of Miss Internet Pageant. Semi-Finalists may be required to return additional documentation, affidavits or releases, and if such documentation is not received by the designated date or if the documentation submitted is deemed to be, in our sole determination, incomplete, erroneous or misleading, or if such Semi-Finalist fails to appear at any designated event for the Competition, they will be ineligible to participate in the remainder of the Competition. In the event that a Semi-Finalist, Runner-up or Winner is determined to be ineligible or withdraws from the Competition, Miss Internet Pageant reserves the right to select a replacement.
The Final Winner of the Competition will receive a prize to be selected in the sole discretion of Miss Internet Pageant with a value of at least $5,000.00, the 2nd runner up will receive $1000.00 and the 3rd runner up will receive $500.00. Additional prizes are also included. All federal, state/provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Taxes, if any, are the winner's sole responsibility. No substitution, transfer, assignment or cash equivalent permitted. Miss Internet Pageant reserves the right to substitute prizes with one of equal or greater value, at Miss Internet Pageant's sole discretion.
Reference to Competition and Miss Internet Pageant
You do not have the right to license Miss Internet Pageant's name or trademarks, including but not limited to "Miss Internet Pageant.com" and "Miss Internet Pageant" to any other entity, even if you are making an appearance on behalf of that entity. Any such license must be secured from Miss Internet Pageant. The final Winner may use the Miss Internet Pageant logo (copy to be provided upon request of the Winner) in connection with Winner's portfolio and personal promotional online site only, provided that the logo may only be used as allowed by Miss Internet Pageant, and further provided that such portfolio or online site does not include any material that is considered pornographic, vulgar or obscene (which is to be determined in the sole discretion of Miss Internet Pageant).
Miss Internet Pageant Winner, 2nd Runner Up, and 3rd Runner Up's Prize: Winner may refer to herself as the "2008 Miss Internet Pageant" in written and descriptive materials such as a biography, resume, or other purely noncommercial descriptive aspect.
Any use of "GuessNow.com" and/or "Miss Internet Pageant," or any reference thereto, in connection with any promotional event or advertising must first be approved by Miss Internet Pageant in writing.
NOTIFICATION/TERMS: Entrants, Finalists and Winner will be notified by e-mail, telephone or other means reasonably calculated to provide notice.
GOVERNING LAW: This Competition shall be governed and construed by Florida law, without respect to its principles of conflicts, and the exclusive venue for all controversies will be in state or federal court Delray Beach, Florida.
DISCLAIMER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Miss Internet Pageant and all prize providers are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error, delay in delivery of information, technical malfunction, failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, access providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participants' or any other persons', computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Competition; inability to access the registration page, the web site or any pages thereof; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; entry submissions that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete, garbled, or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or any web site. Proof of entering information is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. All dates set forth in this Contest Agreement are approximate. Miss Internet Pageant reserves the right to extend any deadlines. You hereby release Miss Internet Pageant and their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, wholesalers, retailers, officers, directors, agents, employees and all others associated with the development and execution of this Competition from any and all liability with respect to, or in any way arising from, this Competition, including, but not limited to, publication or use of photographs/videotapes, and/or acceptance or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury, death, damages, or monetary loss.
